RSS Feeds

RSS stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’, or, more appropriately ‘Rich Site Summary’. RSS informs you when your favourite websites have been updated; this saves you from having to go to sites to see if they have changed, as the site will inform you of any new content.

To do this you need to have a web browser that supports ‘Live Bookmarking’. Most up to date browsers support this feature – such as Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 (IE7 can also be obtained by doing a Windows update – which you should be doing anyway to fix any security flaws). Alternatively you can use an RSS news aggregator to inform you of website changes. A popular one is Google Reader, although there are many more out there.

To subscribe to an RSS feed you click on the RSS link found in the address bar of you web browser (the place where you type in ‘www.jimmyteenstv.com’) or the footer of this page provides a link. This will then subscribe you to the sites content with your default RSS reader.

iTunes Podcasts

Podcasts are just specially formatted RSS feeds, and iTunes is a simple way to subscribe to our Podcast Feed. Clicking iTunes Podcast will open up iTunes and ask if you would like to subscribe.

Miro Podcasts

Miro is an Open-source, non-profit video player and podcast client. Get Miro is the software with which you can subscribe to jimmyteens.tv films. The Miro hosted feed can be access through this link: jimmyteens.tv Miro Podcast
